And Boston drivers! I moved here 2 years ago and am finally almost a Boston driver. The first year, I drove in terror and it will probably take another ten years before I get my black belt. By all means, do not plan on driving at all while here. Take taxis or the subway (which is pretty good, if you're near a station). Parking is tight and expensive. Driving is intolerable. But, if you have to drive, here's a tip. Drive OUT of the city, to Newton or to Route 128, drive to one of the T (subway) stations there, park and take the subway in.
