Since the price of 256-color displays fell to the PC range a couple years ago there could be a large demand. I respect the two-year blackout for principal investigators who do most of the initial work, but eventually NASA/JPL should "publish" this stuff. As with the discussion of USGS digI suspect it isal map data a few months ago, it more a matter of management competence rather than dislike of the public.
