If you're running sendmail or smail (probably others), you can set up your alias in *their* alias files (eg: /usr/lib/aliases for smail, depending on configuration), and the To: line will only show the alias name (because mailx isn't doing the expansion, and smail/sendmail won't insert the expansion into the message itself, just the uux command lines).
