Cheney WA Lines: 27 *** Good Stuff For Sale *** These point-of-sale units used at a large commercial burger joint (some guy with red hair and a big red nose, named Ronald). The majority are ABACUS machines and about 30 are newer ANCHOR units. The kind with the soft touch keyboard and the 9" monitior in the unit. These systems are just out of the store, most are in working order, some have been scavenged. I can't make any promises about functionality, but they should work or be easy to fix. If nothing else they are chock full of good parts, lots of small RAMs, ROMs, micro controlers, and a lot more that I don't recognize right off. I have some printers, larger B/W monitors and LOTS of electronic cash drawers. There are boxes of network connections as well. I figure that if you knew what you were doing these machines cuold be up and running with little effort. I have between 80 and 100 if these things, which is far more than I need. I was told that the ANCHOR machines alone were worth $5000, but I am open to suggestions. I would rather move these things `en masse`, if possible. The price would definately be better if someone wanted them all. If you are interested but don't know what these machines are I can send a parts list to any and all interested parties.
