The following was sent to the comp.protocols.iso.x400 newsgroup
on June 28, 1989



In the June 26, 1989 issue of CommunicationsWeek there was a
reference to a product developed by the University of British
Columbia and marketed, starting in 1985, by the now bankrupt
firm, Sydney Development Corp.  The product was called X.400 MHS
and said to be the industry's first OSI X.400 Message Handling
System software.  They were also reported to have developed
companion X.500 directory service code.  The distribution of
these products is now being handled by a European consortium
called OSIWare Inc.

If anyone can provide or direct me to more information on these
products, effective contacts at the University of British
Columbia, or with OSIWare I would be very grateful.
