We design & build custom testing systems and occasionally use an IBM-PC as the controller (customer requirement). We've written our own multi- tasking kernel that sits on top of DOS but it has its limitations. I've received info from JMI Consultants on a product called C-EXECUTIVE which claims to overcome many of the DOS limitations by supplying a reentrant BIOS, etc. Does anyone out there have any experience with C-EXEC? If so, please email and I'll summarize. Thanks all! Kevin -- >|< Kevin I Young uunet!edsews!pte!kiy Precise Technology & Electronics, Inc.
