I am using ftp to transfer programs (for my IBM clone) to a mini running unix 
and then, I am using kermit to get the programs from the mini to my home 
computer.  I have had no success at getting working versions of these programs
to my PC and my working copy of ARC reports errors in the files.

Do I have to set something in ftp or in kermit?  

I am sorry that I do not have the actual error messages from arc with me as
those may be helpful.
