A couple of years ago there was a posting that referenced
a public domain set of statistics programs. I believe these
performed simple mean/variance type functions. I can't find
anything similar in the archives. If anyone is aware of any please
let me know. I think the original posting was from someone
at the Wang Institute in Mass.
