In requard of the transfer procedure, I don't think you should use jlink for
the process.  The proven procedure is as follow:
 
	On the IBM side: ARead {Amigafile} {PCFile}
			 AWrite {PCFile} {AmigaFile}
 
Note that the direction is from left to right and you have to run it from the 
PC side.  I have been using it without any problem except its speed.
