The 1/2 height version, the 3085, which is also faster (22 mS), is available for $589 (also with a one year warranty). For reference: check the Sunday COMPUTING section of the San Jose Mercury News (i.e. the ads), and the Sunday BUSINESS section of the San Francisco Chronicle.
