All those chips have holes in the board under them, so you can turn the motherboard over, and poke something thru the hole to pop the chip out... As far as being static sensitive... it's not that hard to ground oneself... lPersonally, I'd much prefer to swap in the Obese Agnus, and the new Denise myself than let some 'authorized' bozo who don't know any more about electronics than myself do it. I work on computer hardware everyday, and I trust myself a lot more than the average Joe with the insides of my maching. I hope CBM wisens up and makes the chips available to the public, and doesn't force us to get them installed by 'professionals'.... l l
