I seem to remember a reply on how one could get the changes you make to the control panel to save, but at the time did not copy the info, and now I would like to know if I am remembering right. I have tried ejecting disks after I exit control panel both eject and drag the icon to the trash can, but this does not seem to save the info either. Is there some trick I am missing. I did not notice the problem because I had already had all my desktop parameters set before I transfered my boot disk from my mac at work. Then a friend tried to make changes to his and could not. I tried and found the changes did not survive a cold boot. Please send replies via email, Thanks in advance!
