(This is Peter talking now... :-) ----------- The public access unix system I was using evaporated, so I'd appreciate it if you would post a reply for me to this usenet message dleigh@hplabsz.HPL.HP.COM (Darren Leigh) writes: >I just bought an AmiGen genlock for my B2000 and and the >flicker-fixer doesn't seem to like it....Is this normal? Yes it is. Flicker fixer can be used simultaneously with a composite adapter, but not with a genlock. There is no need to remove the ff board while using an external genlock, but the ff will not sync properly while the Amiga is in genlock mode. BUT......MicroWay is in final beta test of an inexpensive (<$50) genlock compatibility option board. This is a little piggyback board that can be installed on any NTSC flicker fixer that will allow it to be used simultaneously with an external genlock. It will be formally introduced at AmiExpo in Chicago at the end of the month.
