I have three sys 5.0 related questions. 1. Is it easily available? All of the "authorized dealers" tell me to wait until "September at the earliest, but more likely october or november." The mail order houses claim to not know what it is, and all of my local developers have moved away. Is it on Applelink perhaps? Or is there a kind person who will mail it? 2. Do the new drivers justify getting an apple SCSI card? I have a CMS card at the moment which works, but it would be kinda nice to get all the speed out of the little monster that I can. Put another weay, are the advantages of having an Apple card and any new drivers worth the hundred bucks it would take to get one? 3. Is there now or will there be soon a version of Applelink software that will work with System 5.0? I discovered recently that the GS software would not work with 4.0. Sigh. 4. Unrelated question: Has anyone heard os any plans to integrate the new features of Sys 5.0 (like new calls and resource managers) into Orca pascal? I ordered TML 2 mostly because I did not want to muck about with undersupported products. Thanks for your time. Fuzzy! Scott Ellsworth SELLWORTH@HMCVAX sellswor@jarthur.claremont.edu
