I've been using AppleWorks for quite some time, in fact since v1.1 or something like that. With the new feature of AppleWorks 3.0 (to be released in August :-), most of the complaints about previous versions have been handled. Sure, it doesn't have built-in macros.. but you can get UltraMacros ("THE" best macro program written, period) for $29.95 when you get AppleWorks 3.0
