Why can't Apple just update PRODOS to support deleting of extended files.. it seems like that would be the simplest solution. Of course, it may be that not allowing PRODOS 8 to support extended files (without doing everything manually) is part of some plot to kill the 8-bit Apple ... then again.. ;-)
