Snow Software is pleased to announce the release of version 1.04 of
SnowTerm, the desktop terminal emulator package for the Apple IIGS.
This new version adds support for Super Serial card compatible internal
modems and external modems connected to a Super Serial card interface.
Previous versions of SnowTerm only supported external modems connected
to the built in serial port of the GS.

SnowTerm runs under the full desktop environment of the Apple IIGS
and uses the graphics capabilities of the GS to provide an accurate
emulation of the DEC VT100 and VT52 terminals, including character
attributes such as bold, blinking, underline, reverse video, double
height and double width as well as the VT100 special graphics character
set.

Version 1.04 adds a few VT100 escape sequences that previously were
not supported by SnowTerm and also fixes several bugs present in
earlier versions.

SnowTerm is distributed as shareware.  The shareware registration fee
is $20.  SnowTerm v1.04 has been uploaded to the comp.binaries.apple2
area in Shrinkit/BINSCII format.  Anyone who did not get it or needs
a copy in BLU/BinaryII format may contact me at the address listed below.

SnowTerm v1.04 requires an Apple IIGS with a minimum of 512K of RAM and
GS/OS version 2.0 (system disk 4.0) or higher.
