I don't have the patch (or anything else atari related) with me, but if there is interest I can find, upload, and post the patch program. It's short and in BASIC. As for setting the clock I don't have any ideas off hand. It seems like you're on the right track, though. Try assigning various values to TIME and printing TIME$ (as well as assigning various strings to TIME$ itself). But it sounds like you've tried this already. Sorry I can't be of more help there.
