I have been using Zoo/SEZ/Fiz on my Compaq at work and on the Unix system at school. (It compiled w/o a hitch on our Sun 3 with SunOS 3.2). I also use Zoo on my ST to transfer files to/from the Sun and so far, I have not seen any problems. I have been waiting to see a Zoo shell appear on the net for the ST, because I really like using the ARCshell. I'm going to check into getting Sez for my ST, since I would find it very useful. (BTW: SEZ is the program for producing Self-Extraction Zoo files and Fiz fixes corrupted ZOO archives as best as possible -- at least it lets you get past a corrupted entry). The biggest plus with Zoo is its preservation of directory structure and it's fast and just as efficient on storage (if not marginally better) than ARC. One point to note. Many of the PC BBSes seem to be using Phil Katz ZIP and UNZIP. Are those making their way to the ST as well? cheers, -c | Chip Roberson ARPANET: csrobe@cs.wm.edu | | Dept of Comp.
