I have seen problems with nethack on my ST.  It keeps trashing the file
that contains the levels and crapping out.  I wish I could say more but
I had the problem about 7 months ago and just gave up playing nethack.

I remember DLII complaining about that partition of my HD.  It seemed
that I had several zero-length files and some where in my nethack
directory.  However, I'm not sure if that was related or not.
