I have tried sending mail to HP.COM, but it always bounces, so since I
no several people on the net have the old DeskJets, thought this would be
a fair, "open question"!

  Can one upgrade the older DeskJets to the DJ+??
  Does it require more than a simple swap of the logic boards and the 
  mechanism?  Would it cost too much to be worthwhile?

Thanks if anyone in an official postion to answer can help out!!
