This does not include labor and any warrantee if you do the labor yourself. This "bootleg" sort of upgrade is not supported or encouraged by HP, thats why I cannot and will not provide part numbers and instructions. If HP did the upgrade it would easily be another $100 for labor and the implied new warrantee. The changes are electrical, mechanical, and different labels (both the product name and the key pad). It is more than just an electronics board swap. I have seen used DeskJets advertised for $500. I think that is a bit high, but since DeskJets now retail for $795 selling a used printer at 50% of retail seems reasonable. This would be $400. Since you can get a new DeskJet+ for under $700 street price you would be better off selling your DeskJet used and buying a new DeskJet+. Dave Neff hpvcfs1!neff
