Appletalk has been the missing link in our attempts to incorporate STs into the mainstream of micro use at our company (i.e., we have no networking capability that can link us with our VAX- ETHERNET company-wide network; money is tight at the company and ETHERNET boards/connections are unaffordable by most groups). Appletalk would allow us to connect to ETHERNET via the FASTPATH bridge to be used by Mac users. Has anyone heard of any rumours of Spectre being upgraded to support Appletalk? While reading/writing Mac disks is an invaluable addition to Spectre's capabilities, Appletalk capability on the Aladin may cause us to shift plans and move to Aladin instead of turning in our Magic Sacs and Spectres for the GCR. Feedback would be greatly appreciated.
