Hi everybody!  I'm just posting to thank all the people who replied to
my call for help on my UNIX PC uucp problem.  My difficulties were
traced to my failure to set the line to data mode before running
uucico.  uucp runs now, to the best of its ability 8-).

It was my first time asking the group for technical help, and I'm amazed
and reassured at the number of people offering their time and insight to
help get me going.  I used to be worried about losing AT&T's support on
the UNIX PC with the discontinuation.  Now, after my first experience
with the net, it doesn't matter so much to me.  As long as there are
interested, dedicated individuals who use and maintain these machines,
there will always be support -- USER SUPPORT -- which is, in my opinion, far
more useful than manufacturer support.
