Keywords: exabyte vaxstation 3100 Message-ID: <1633@jarthur.Claremont.EDU> Date: 12 Jul 89 05:57:09 GMT Reply-To: arnold@jarthur.claremont.edu (Arnold de Leon) Organization: Harvey Mudd College, Claremont, CA Lines: 16 Has anyone used a plain exabyte on a Vaxstation 3100 under VMS? The VS3100 sees the drive (as determined by SHOW DEV at the monitor prompt). But VMS never sees the drive online (offline, err count 1 after autoconfiguring). It does see the device as an MKA?00 (where ? is the scsi id). I'm not sure if I'm missing something obvious. This is with VMS5.1-1. The VS has one scsi bus and does not have any other tape drives. A summary will be posted. Thanks in advance. -- Arnold de Leon arnold@jarthur.claremont.edu Computer Science Dept. uunet!jarthur!arnold Harvey Mudd College arnold@ymir.bitnet Claremont, CA 91711
