We have an HP150 that is used quite a bit. It is at a remote location,
one which happens to lose power more often than the average "business
system" does -- typically 30-45 times a year, for anywhere from
a few seconds to 4-5 days (although the latter is rare!).

We use Eveready Energizer alkaline N size (No. E90) and have
had to replace them only once since the unit was installed (in 1984).

We have the "original" HP150 -- the one with the small screen.

I would assume that if you could find a lithium "N cell", then it would
by definition be OK since I assume that "N cell" implies certain minimum
electrical characteristics over time (in addition to nominal unloaded
voltage level).

However, unless your system is subject to large periods of time when it has no
power, you might want HP to look at it to see if there is some other problem
with your specific unit.
