How much time do you think they spend on each machine? For example, the Gateway 2000 386 20Mhz machine was selected as the best by BYTE. The darn thing isn't even totally compatible with DOS, and even the people at Gateway acknowledged that fact after I bought the machine. I believe Computer Shopper (highly reputable, I know), selected Northgate as the best, and only recently there was a big horro story on them in the net. Best bet is still to buy next day onsite service; its actually pretty cheap from places like ZEOS, adn free from DELL and CompuAdd. Milan mms00786@uxa.cso.uiuc.edu
