I need a buffer that will be able to use extended memory for sending fairly large amounts of data to a plotter so that we can regain the use of the computer. Some of these plots can take from 30min to 1 1/2 hrs. The ability to access from 1 meg. to whatever meg. happens to be avaliable in extended would release us because the time required is a function of the plotter not the data transfer. Many thanks to those who have responded so far, and to anyone taking the time to respond now.
