I saw some replies indicating that the "Set Titles" thing would do what I wanted about splitting the screen. So I tried it on a worksheet I had running. Now the effect of this thing is not actually documented anywhere that I can find, and I'm really interested. There's also no apparent way to UNDO the blasted thing, and boy do I ever want to undo it. It seems that the effect is to split the screen at the current cell in such a way that you can NEVER AGAIN ACCESS OR CHANGE anything above or to the left of that cell. You cannot even see anything more than ONE ROW OR COLUMN above or left of that point: the titles are constrained to a single cell deep. I may be wrong, but that's all I can figure out from what happened and what I can read. Need I mention that when I selected this "feature", the current cell was near the bottom of the sheet? I even tried saving in one of the weird formats, hoping I could resurrect the stuff on re-reading, because the feature is missing from LOTUS, etc. I was foiled by WINGZ, which DOES NOT SAVE THE TITLES, i.e. nearly everything I want. What a misfeature!
