This software interface costs about $125. It provides a chooser level driver and a cable. I can't recall if it came with any fonts - I'm at home and the package is at work. It looks like the PaintJet can be used with most Mac applications that "play by the rules". I was able to get color output from Excel and from Powerpoint. The output from Powerpoint was extra- ordinary - Powerpoint comes with a number of sample, full color slides. I printed one of these on the Paintjet and got a beautiful proof of the slide. I didn't try other applications; I expect they'll work fine if they handle color on the screen. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Barry Wolman | barry@s66.prime.com Principal Technical Consultant | 492 Old Connecticut Path Prime Computer | Framingham, MA 01701 | 508/626-1700, ext. 4187 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Nothing in this posting reflects an official position of Prime Computer.
