Lines: 34 Hi, everybody! I know there are a lot of fonts out there for the trusty old ImageWriter II, but I don't really feel like buying them all just to try 'em out. My needs are fairly simple: I want a font that, in size, is somewhere between Times 12 and New York 12, that looks in this "serif" kind of style, and that looks *good* when printed on paper. I would like it also to have all the special option-characters that Times has, but New York lacks. I've tried Boston II, but found it very large in 12-point mode. I don't remember if it has a 20-point font so that 10-point will print nicely. I really would like to print nice output (for myself) that I like to read: I previously was using WordPerfect which did an amazingly horrible job of printing Times 12. MacWrite II did a little better, but WriteNow (my current processor) prints fonts the best, it seems, although I can't understand why. Well, I'll try Boston II again, but if anyone out there has any experience with serif-like fonts that aren't *too* big (I like fitting lots of information on one line), please e-mail responses to me (roger@caen.engin.umich.edu). I don't care if it's shareware, or commercial. Maybe I can send you a SASE and you can send me back a printed copy of the font. I'd be grateful. BTW, will System 7.0's outline fonts make the IW II print any better? OR do I have to start saving for memory *and* a new printer? Oh well. Thanks, Roger Espinosa roger@caen.engin.umich.edu
