They were expected to announce the product in June, but apparently pulled it at the last minute. I find it humorous that a hardware manufacturer who is just getting into the market would not have done a better job doing simple market research. From the letters and phone calls I have been getting there seems to be a good market for such a beast. But does any developer really want to jump into water that Apple is heating? It is a good way to get burned. Then again, perhaps there will be a flurry of products announced after Apples that improve upon theirs?
