What am I >doing wrong?? I don't know if you are trying to FTP to sumex, but other people have had the same problem so I thought I'd post one possible solution. Sumex requires that the account "anonymous" be in lower case letters. Your FTP software may be converting the "anonymous" you type into ANONYMOUS, which is an unknown account at sumex. Try enclosing 'anonymous' in quotes, as here. Bill Lipa Info-Mac
