Now he's gone and we have two problems with aufs: 1) Files that are created with WriteNow 2.0 and reside on an aufs volume cannot be opened any more (by WriteNow). The Mac displays the following error message: Unexpected error #-39 occurred while reading or writing the disk When the file is dragged to the Mac's own hard disk everything is OK again. Do other implementations of CAP have the same problem? Can something be done about it? 2) The "date" of a file. When dragging a file from one Mac volume to another it keeps its "old" creation time (this we consider a nice feature). However when we drag a file from a Mac volume to an aufs volume, the creation time is updated (to the present time). Again the same questions, is this a general problem for aufs, can something be done? Your help would be much appreciated.
