I need to be able to determine when a modem connection has lost
carrier, and I would also like to be able to hang up the modem
without going through the "+++" (pause) "ATH0" routine.

Are there existing XCMDs that control the DTR line and examine
the carrier detect line on the Macintosh serial port?

Any information would be appreciated.
