Even if the Plus and SE are "forever doomed" to 4MB max, is there really any
need (in the reasonably near future) for any more than that?  Face it, if
you're going to be a power user, you probably have something more than a Plus
or an SE anyhow.  The not-so-intense computer users will have these and will
probably not require more than 4MB, and most will be more than happy with less
than that.
