We have a continous source of grey scale pictures ("Pictures from Space")
and a good understanding of their structure.  We would like to be able
to convert them to TIFF format, as we are currently able to convert them to
Sun pixrext (rasterfile) format, xim and postscript.  I have the 
Microsoft/Aldus specification, but was wondering if there were already some
programs around which demonstrate how to create a TIFF file.
