I need to use list-box controls in my program (a list-box is what is used by the Macintosh and MS-Windows environments to select filenames from a list, among other uses). Sun apparently does not support such an entity, and so I will have to develop my own. I would like to know if anyone has implemented list-boxes on the Sun, and if they would be willing to share the code to implement it, or their ideas on the best method of implementation. I know Frammaker has implemented list-boxes on the Sun. It is surprising that this important device is not part of the Sun toolkit. SunView does not really have any good mechanism to provide a lengthy, multiple choice selection device. Neil R. Shapiro INTERNET: shapironr@crd.ge.com GE Corp.
