There are quite a few bbs's with a large quantity of downloads available.  The
biggest one I know of for sheer quantity of software is "8N1" in Gainesville,
Florida at 904-377-1200.  This is a upload/download only board, if I'm not
mistaken -- i.e., no message-handling at all.

But the board has an incredible amount of software.  There's no signup or
registration beyond your name, no verification procedures.  

The Tandy Trader in Orlando (407-645-4929) is another board that supports
the TRS80's, as well as the IBM-compatibles.  This bbs has a large amount of
TRS80 software, but most of it is from Gainesville 8N1 and, since the board
shares disk space with an IBM upload/download section and message-handling
for both, the quantity of software is limited.
