  Sorry if I post this article in wrong newsgroup.

  I am a troff user for a few years. Currently, I find that the Latex
become more and more popular than troff. Can someone tell me that
what the main advantage and disadvantage between them are? Is there
someway to translate the document file between them? 

  By the way, is there a way to preview the troff file on X window before
we print it out? I have seen that the file prepared by Latex can be previewed
on screen. It is a very nice feature because it can save the time and paper.

  Thanks in advance for the people give me the answers for the above
