I am running Microport SysV/386 v3.0e on an ALR 386/2, 16MHz machine. I'm sure this question has come around a couple of times, so mail responses are sufficient and I'll post a summary. (I'd even bet that someone has an old summary they could send.) Request: I need to get a tape drive for my machine. Mostly for backups, but also for archiving. Suggestions? Requirements: - 4+ Megs/minute transfer rate. - Tapes of no less than 40Meg. - External device. - List price <= $2000. Thanks tons for any leads/help. -- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- Christopher Cilley {ucsfcca|claris}!wet!cc cc@wet.UUCP "We are the dreamers of dreams" - W. Wonka
