hi!

i have a problem with my 386/25 board (AMI EC&T-1158-030389-K0 BIOS)
and the adaptec aha-1540 controller (BIOS version 2E). its NOT 1540A.
although i'll run xenix 386GT which i haven't got yet, i tried to use
the thing under dos (yuck) and have encountered a very strange behaviour:
small programs are ok, but when i COPY large programs like turbo c exe
files 10 bytes in the middle of the file get changed magically (at adress
dc50-59 or something). other files get mangled at other adresses.
i guess that the BIOSes dont like each other ?!
well at least i think that the thing will work under xenix since xenix
doesnt use the BIOSes.

any help would be appreciated.
