Hi,
	does anyone out there know where to find any document which gives
detail of X bitmap file format, i.e., how the color map is given, how 
each pixel is assigned to the color, etc. 

	Actually I am working on converting a set of gif format image files
to XBM files. If someone knows there is such a utility already there, please
let me know.
