Message-ID: <4203@emory.mathcs.emory.edu> Date: 12 Jul 89 17:15:09 GMT Organization: Math & Computer Science, Emory University, Atlanta, GA Lines: 15 We use a serial port (ttya) for the console on our Sun 4, but would like to run X on the unused bitmap display/kbd/mouse. Unfortunately, it looks as if when autoconfing notices that ttya is the console, it never initializes the kbd/mouse, so the X server cannot open them. Is there any way around this? This is on SunOS 4.0 -- Ken Mandelberg | km@mathcs.emory.edu PREFERRED Emory University | {decvax, gatech}!emory!km UUCP Dept of Math and CS | km@emory.bitnet NON-DOMAIN BITNET Atlanta, GA 30322 | Phone: (404) 727-7963
