After some research, it seemed clear that it would support the Sigma LaserView 7. I had received a review of X displays/ software in reply to a posting I made a while ago, which contained an ISC Xconfig file that had the Sigma in it. It had a version number of 1.7, dated 89/03/03. The fact that ISC had a Sigma server was confirmed by other parts of the review The X I received from ISC does not support the Sigma. Its Xconfig file is marked 1.6, dated 89/01/12. I called them, and they say I have the most up to date release. Can anyone shed some light as to where the 1.7 version came from ? I *really* want to run on the Sigma, and not VGA .... -- Paul Bennett, Dialogic Corp.
