I am trying to compile news software 2.11 (no fixes) on a 3B2/310 with
System V, Rel. 3.2 and C Language Issue 4.2.  I get the following
errors.  I know very little about C (took a class four years ago).  Help?

Do I need this module of vnews at all if I plan to compile rn later?
Where can I get the fixes to 2.11?  I have only uucp (no ftp) and
keep failing at attempts to request newer source from places like utzoo.
Should I give it up and try to get the Cnews code?
