It was Michelle, a research assistant at the National AIDS Information Clearinghouse (800-458-5231), who finally got me connected with a lab which would do the work. The lab is Maryland Medical Labs at (800)-237-7917 or (301)-247-9100. Incidentally, their tech support people have apparently dropped the warning, "This test is for research purposes only" from the order form. As near as I can make out, this was enough to let my insurance carrier pay. However, it is still my understanding that there are no agreed upon laboratory norms for proper serum concentrations 4 hours after the last dose of 200 mg of medication. Thanks, again, to all of you who gave me tips and moral support. Troy Stokes Bitnet address:CS_STOKES@SWTEXAS
