How easy is it to install the WD2010 chip? Is it socketed? The WD1010 (and the soon-to-be-installed WD2010) plug into a socket. Replacement is very straightforward and requires NO soldering; it's simply a matter of opening up your system, accessing the motherboard, popping-out the WD1010 and plugging in the WD2010. My estimate is 15 minutes from start to finish, assuming you're not all-thumbs! :-) Thad Floryan [ thad@cup.portal.com (OR) ..!sun!portal!cup.portal.com!thad ]
