To all immulological/genetic labs in the US,


I'm a Health Sciences student from The Netherlands. I'm studying for my fourth
year at Leiden University. Health Sciences is a four years' course aiming at
medical-scientific research. Before I do my final exams I would like to deepen
my knowledge on immunology and/or genetics. In 1990 I would very much like to
spend 6 to 12 months in a research-lab in the US.
My present experience include recombinant DNA technics (cloning, blotting),
tissue-culture (human, rat and dog cells) and working with retro-virusses
in order to develop a model for gene-therapy.
This knowledge I aquired in the lab of Prof. Dr. A.J. van der Eb. My direct
supervisor was Dr. H. van Ormondt. My work was done at the Sylvius Lab. in
Leiden, The Netherlands.
