I am posting this for a friend with whom I have e-mail connection, but she
is not on a news receiving site.

Subject: Token Ring, compatibility of TI's TMS380C16 with IBM's 4/16 Mbps chip


Apparently TI is having problems finding the announcement that was
supposedly made at the last COMDEX (I do not know where it was held and
exactly when, I am sure it was held in the US and I am sure that less
than 12 months have elapsed since). Does anyone know how I can get a copy
of this announcement and of any updates that may have followed it.
